Work Schedule
WILD HORSE SANCTUARY

In order to secure and utilize volunteer help in the most effective and efficient manner, a year long work calendar/schedule has been developed. Obviously the intent is to enable volunteers with specific skills to become aware of project needs in a time frame that allows them to commit to helping.

The schedule below delineates date of work, substance of project, skills needed and contact person. Please review the information and select a project with which you are willing and able to help. Most work is scheduled on the first weekend of the month.

Please be advised that on any noted weekend there may be additional work to do. It would be helpful if volunteers would advise Dianne of their intent to participate at least one week prior to the scheduled activity for which they are volunteering.

A need exists for help, on a regular basis, with feeding. If you are available to assist with feeding on a set day during the week, please advise Dianne. Clearly this activity is most appropriate for persons living near the sanctuary.

People who have skill and desire to work with horses are particularly needed at certain times of the year. If you are interested please call Dianne. Feel free to reflect questions or comments to me at (530) 472-1360.
